Working Towards Net Zero

Our Commitment To 2050 Net Zero

St Helens Carers Centre acknowledges the connection between the climate and environmental crises; the threat of current and future homelessness, disease, food and water shortages, and poverty for millions of people around the world. As well as the major damage being caused to the natural world.

St Helens Carers Centre therefore recognise our responsibility to reduce our carbon and environmental footprints and commit to being an environmentally responsible charity achieving Net Zero as soon as possible and prior to 2050.

In 2024 we adopted a new Environmental Policy which commits us to measuring our Carbon Footprint and developing a plan to achieve Net Zero.     We will review our plans annually as a minimum.
